The supreme court hears less than 1% of petitions and frankly with gay marriage already being federally recognized after 2022 its repeal would range from "nothing ever happens" to "the gay weddings you get invited to all happen in california or new york" but other states still have to recognize those marriages under the Full Faith and Credit Clause
