dear troons, define gender dysphoria:
yall talk about gender dysphoria as if its some objective measurable condition.

when one thinks about it, isnt it
basically the want to be the other sex and feeling bad u cant ? how is that diff from being unhappy of any other aspect of urs like height or face ????? why claim its a medical condition if its just a strong desire ??

and if its real, what makes it diff from being “brainwashed” into wanting something baddd ?? is there any proof it seriously exists or is it just some self induced self image epidemic ???

>the want to be the other sex and feeling bad u cant
incorrect.
they believe they're the other sex and feel bad because they're called a sex that they don't believe they are. it's like calling an ugly chick a man. ya, it hurts their self-esteem and makes them feel about.

they don't want to be the opposite sex. cis people describe it as such as they misrepresent the condition as a result of their own transphobia.

it's like, you every see a guy get mad because you tell him he throws like a girl? that same teasing or bullying is how the tranny feels when you refer to them as their sex assigned at birth rather than their identitfied sex.

it's not a want. it's a delusion. an irrational belief. people that don't get it or don't have it liken it to just wanting to be a girl. wanting to be a girl means you don't identify as one so no matter how far you go in transition the candidate will never feel satisfied.

an identity is immutable. a kid that acts like a fag in childhood will more than likely still be a fag in adulthood. so all the people that say things like they didn't know or think it wasn't a thing prior to the push for transvisibility are those swept up in a social contagion (trend).

its very irrational for a man to hate his male features and social status as a man. what the fuck is this. i still am unable to comprehend why ?

Largely a sense of detachment from asab characteristics. Basically when i looked at my body pretrans i couldn't subconsciously accept it as mine even when i objectively knew it was. Felt like a skinwalker for first 20 years of my life

>wanting to be a girl means you don't identify as one
some of us had biological sex and "you are a boy you have a penis and will become a father" shoved down our throats at a very young age. my parents were biologists, for me to insist i was a girl would be to insist the sky was red. when i was able to break free of that and transition i did genuinely see myself as a girl, but years of being surrounded transphobic bullying has fucked me up. i don't really see myself as a woman anymore, but that's out of self hate not identity. the fact of it makes me sad.

disconnect between the sex your brain expects and the sex your body is. symptoms include dissociation, depression, and emotional pain when confronted with their bodies features of their birth sex. in my case i wanted to be a girl as a kid, felt the dysphoria i described above around when puberty started. it became too much to deal with when i was 16 and i trooned out

gender dysphoria is a disabling lack of connection with how one's body relates to their sexual self-image, and how society and individuals relate to them based off of this body. its most reliable known treatment is to adopt characteristics (both sexual & cultural) "of" the opposite sex (itself complicated to define).

gender dysphoria is internalized homophobia
they don't want to be men because bi and gay men are hated by women

I think there are different types and levels of dysphoria.
I'm ftm.
For me, it's simply an urge and a compulsion to be as male as I can be, it's not emotional or anything.
It was more a constant feeling of "this is wrong this is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong" until I started taking T and got top. Now I just take my shots and live a normal life not stuck in my head.
It was never about my position in life or privilege or misogyny or whatever else. Yeah, just need to be as male as I can be.

Discomfort with sexual characteristics that do not line up with your internal sense of sex.

Same thing happens to guys with gyno.

No I think you're probably right. Dysphoria and Dysmorphia I think are very closely related and I'm sure there's probably already a study out there showing correlation or overlap or something but I can't be added lol

I literally do not understand troons. Like, I'll give you an example. I remember when Elliot Page was presenting an award at the Oscars a few years ago and standing next to JK Simmons. It looked so ridiculous that I got secondhand embarrassment. Here's this 5'1 shrimp of a person who looks absolutely nothing like a man.

I remember reading where Elliot was saying he felt embarrassed wearing a dress years prior. And I’m like, you fool! Everyone’s laughing at you now! You look horrible, ugly, and disgusting even. Your body is destroyed. Elliot’s probably thrown his career down the tubes too. Yeah, sure he might get bit parts here and there, but he’s sabotaged himself. Oh and his/her wife left him too. Sounds like it was totally worth it! How do these people justify the lie they tell themselves? It’s utterly maddening.
