I always got shaken up and had the urge to cry and whatnot when getting shittalked in PvP games even before HRT, but now I literally can't touch them because I'll become a sobbing mess if someone is mean to me. FPS also make me extremely motion sick now

im about the same but i have mostly been away from most games from 2016-2024; especially competitive pc games but i returned to league of legends a couple months ago with my wife and im mostly having fun; but i did have a frustrating 10 loss streak for a couple weeks

i actually wanted to play quake live but i cant find any populated duel servers in NA; only clan arena and dm which bores me to death; so i play league instead

might get into guilty gear strive or try to finally learn tekken... i have a leverless fightstick but im terrible with it im going to get a decent normal normal fightstick probably before the end of the year and see if my ruined wrists/hands can handle it

bit of both. i played csgo religiously pre transition but the best i ever was was when i played it actively for a few months a couple years ago after 5 years of hrt lol.
i don't play a ton of singleplayer game, mostly strategy slop which ive also gotten better at (probably because im an adult now) and dark souls which i never played before hrt

i got much less competitive since estrogen, but also more calculated. my main strengths used 2 be never giving up and always having a fire in me but now i'm just kind of more calculated but don't like competitive games very much anymore.

Idk, I got better at vidya after starting T. If you'd asked me if I expected that to happen, I would have laughed and said that was insane. But I was honestly so terrible before (really weak hand-eye coordination) that the improvement was indisputable to me.

I also got slightly worse at word games. I might not have noticed that one (because it's subtle); but around the time I started T, my roommate and I used to play word games together that depended on being able to generate words quickly off the top of our heads. Prior to starting T, we were pretty equal at it. After I'd been on a T for a while, I started losing so consistently that we kinda stopped doing it because there was no point any more. There's no other aspect of my life where generating what I want to say is TIMED in the same way, so no other way it would have been noticeable that there was a difference in how fast I could access language.
