Y'know I've actually experienced some of this.

I wonder if it has to do at all with that phenomenon of like, very different looking races/ethnicities having a slightly harder time reading someone's birth sex. Or maybe it's to do with black people looking a little less neotenous, so a black guy used to being attracted to black women has a smaller gap to white tranners, the same way a white guy being attracted to an asian tranner could be seeing someone who still often has more neoteny even if they're clocky?
