I feel like you're framing this strictly in an attraction /sexual sense. In which case, I don't know if it fully applies to me, since I think some boys are pretty too. I think it's a normal reason for transitioning. I get the same. Dysphoria is present, of course, but I think it stems from a yearning and love for women, not really an erotic one, but an aesthetic one. Seeing a cute girl in the mirror makes life worth living sometimes, so I don't care if it's AGP or whatever.
I find some boys pretty, but it's the same type of pretty as those small scruffy dogs. Girls are their own thing

And attraction goes much deeper than sexual, as love and attraction are strongly related. Many people like me would phrase it as "I am in love with my female inner self and I want to make her exist"

Many autohets (myself included) are "meta attracted" to men. That means I am attracted to them insofar as it makes me feel feminine, rather than a more simple "see male body get horny". The focus is on my femininity, and on making my female inner self more real.

You get it! You really do! I'm glad I'm not alone in this feeling. I actually like Patchouli in particular so much that I took her name as my own when I changed my legal name, as a matter of fact. And I'm quite proud of that, even if it's silly, or people think it's a dumb name. It's mine, and I love it, and I love her too.

I can get behind this idea myself, personally. I'd have to put some thought into the meta attraction bit to define whether that's what attracts me to men or not. Most men I feel attraction to are fictional (either 2d or 3d, like characters from movies, but not actors themselves) and it's usually in the context of "If I were with them they'd treat me like so and so"
So maybe it is meta attraction after all...
That being said, I still strongly prefer girls. I'd say it's 95% attraction towards girls, if not more.

Where does AGAMP fall, in your opinion? I see it as a progression of AGP in transfem dominated spaces, as, if you surround yourself/ look up to twinkhonish trans girls they'll end up taking the spot of a true femenine aesthetic, replacing the gynophelia in AGP. I've never seen an AGAMP outside trans dominated circles. you're well versed in the topic of autohets, I'd love to hear your take :D

AGAMP seems to me to be a gradient of AGP, where a transwoman as ideal is easier to relate to your current body than a cis woman. Probably lower on dysphoria than deeper AGPs.
Social influence could play a role as you say, although that implies trans porn usage in the absence of healthy social contact could fill the same role and cause the same outcome in AGPs.

Maybe i feel you. I grown as a man but when i found touhou i thought that something was wrong where, my body was pathetic, not cute, manly, my skin was rough, this is not what i wanna be. I really felt envy to touhou characters, why wasn't i born as a girl? Why was i born as a male? I dont wanna be a manly man, ugly and rude, i wanna have same life as touhous have, i wanna be cute, be pretty, and be beloved, so this is my reason for transition.
And now I'm on hrt for 1 year, and feel myself much, much more better than before.
