Thread for HRT Femboy discussion. Is there a consensus on how to go about this?

My advice for hrt femboy is 4mg oral estrogen and like 20-40mg ralox. The ralox will stop the estrogen from binding to the receptor in the breast which will prevent breast tissue development. If you want tint boobs, dont take ralox for a while lol when you get the boob size you want take the ralox and add progesterone for rounding. I think it is 100mg up yer ass?

I take 50mg Bica+0.25mg of finastride daily by cutting 1mg pills into quarters. I'm loving it so far. My dick still works and my nipples feel firm but I won't know if my levels are good until I get my blood test next month.

started bica+ralox at 17. Eventually went on full hrt at 18 and got keyhole 8 months in. I'm 22 now and I'd say it made me look more feminine but didn't really help prevent twinkdeath. I use to get told I look super young all the time now I just get guessed around my age or even older sometimes. Still continuing HRT but I'm just moving on past the femboy phase into an andro twunkmoder

No. Since both raloxifene and bicalutamide cause an increase in testosterone, you'll almost certainly end up with enough testosterone for aromatization to occur. That'll usually cause breast growth.
Further, the increase in T may be so significant that the bicalutamide will be unable to block all androgenic activity.
If you want to go with raloxifene, you need an antigonadotropin.
Here are raloxifene regimens that would work:
- 120mg raloxifene + 30-50mg relugolix
- 120mg raloxifene + 3 doses of 150mcg buserelin a day.
- 120mg raloxifene + 12.5mg cyproterone acetate
Some people can add 1-2mg of estradiol without getting any breast growth, but raloxifene is fairly easy to overpower, so this doesn't wory for everyone. Others opt for 4-6mg of 17a-E2. 17a-E2 is less feminizing (it won't cause breast growth unless you take a super high dose), but neuroprotective and good for bone health.
Raloxifene is kind of a shitty SERM. Unless you add in some supplemental estrogen it's likely you'll get menopausal symptoms since it isn't able to properly mimic estradiol in the brain. Nonetheless, some people have good luck with it.
Lasofoxifene and bazedoxifene both appear to be better options, but they are both super hard to source.

It is certainly an option to get on E and move onto a SERM, detransition, or get a keyhole mastectomy if you feel you get too much growth though.

4mg oral E is too high. 20-40mg ralox is too low.
60mg or 120mg of raloxifene is a typical dose. 4mg of oral E is likely to overpower the raloxifene unless you are really, really lucky. Some people can do 1-2mg of oral E.

Dutasteride isn't a bad recommendation.
It reduces body and facial hair growth, prevents male pattern baldness, and may even reduce sebum production and other undesirable stuff.
Further, if you are lucky enough to not have gotten much facial hair development, it may stop it from coming in altogether.

i was on 20mg ralox, 4mg oral e, and 100mg spiro for about a year and a half. before that I was on 2mg e + lupron, then switched to 4mg e + 50mg spiro.

a while after being on ralox, the spiro kind if stopped working and my t wasnt being supressed. im not sure if that was due to the ralox or what. I got keyhole last year cuz the E had given me some titties, and now i switched to just taking 25mg cypro and 2mg e.

probly gonna up the estrogen to 4mg or higher. i dont care if i get tits now at this point, i just was the feminizing effects. i dont know if ralox even did anything, it might have just made me get more testosterone. id rather kill myself than become more masculine

I also take sesame seed and white peony supplements which supposedly increase aromatase. I hope 50mg is working because it would suck if it wasn't doing anything. But I'm pretty sure it is at least a little bit.

Depends entirely on your genetics. If you were low T to begin with you have better chances of trooning out at a later age. I would honestly say the 30 is the cut off point for any real changes since you won't have much time before looking old as fuck. The longer you put it off, the worse it gets mentally. If you have gender dysphoria it will never simply go away.

I don't think that's true at all really.
There's no evidence that HRT stops working with age.
Although bones ossify (most ossification is usually done already by 18), testosterone isn't able to further modify your bone structure for that same reason. Most changes associated with what we call 'twinkdeath' have to do with hair changes (i.e. body and facial hair growth, as well as male pattern baldness) and fat distribution changes. Estrogen can reverse the latter, and the former can be mostly mitigated with something like dutasteride.
If you could pull off the twink look at 25, you'll probably fare well on HRT as a general rule.

Welp, nerd shit time.
DHT is formed through the 5α-reductase enzyme. Though both finasteride and dutasteride inhibit this enzyme, the enzyme has multiple isoforms, three to be exact.
Finasteride only inhibits two of the isoforms, whereas dutasteride inhibits all three. Finasteride dosed at 5mg only lowers serum DHT levels by around 71%, whereas a 2.5mg dose of dutasteride lowers serum DHT by nearly 100%. Realistically, 0.5mg of dutasteride will be plenty, however.

Does lowering DHT just lower hair loss? Seems like a lot of people take it to look more feminine but it seems like at most it would slightly reduce your body hair or are there other effects

DHT causes head hair loss but body hair gain, it’s good to look into this stuff if you can. There are good papers on it, the skin thickness effects aren’t as well described but iirc there’s some stuff

DHT is primarily responsible for the development of facial and body hair, so lowering DHT may: 1) prevent more facial and body hair from coming in if you don't have much, and 2) cause body and facial hair to thin.
Some people also report lower sebum production and less BO, among other things.
