Is misandry bad?

Other forms of bigotry that are primarily focused on men are homophobia and racism. If you're part of an oppressed group in western society, you'd probably prefer to be female. You can basically tell how unserious progressives are by how they only ever treat this as a kind of knock on effect of a reductive men vs women patriarchy. Trans women are only really a particularly special or interesting case because in addition to being part of a culture that hates acknowledging misandry, they don't want to build a theory around being perceived as male.

I didn't say anything about a gynocentric society. I think homophobia, transphobia, and racism in their most violent and extreme manifestations happen between males. I think this dynamic gets downplayed or dismissed in a number of ways by people who really view social issues, regardless of the intersectional gloss they put on it, as driven by a patriarchy without much to it but men vs women. At best, people are trying to take that reductive view and back into how bigotry actually works. It's very pervasive and limiting. For example you can't imagine criticism of what you believe as being driven by anything other than the mirror image of what you believe.

transgenderism is just repackaged misandry - castrating men is done to benefit women - it doesn’t benefit the men at all other than a tokenist benefit in social inclusion once castrated.
