Yeah I agree that is kinda unfair, and a lot of us transes experience similar sentiments against us. I think there is some truth to the archetypical understanding of male chasers, because male socialization tends to discourage any stripe of queer feelings and thus those that date outside of the cishet paradigm sometimes try to do so furtively. Also, trans people are on guard about being grossly fetishized. However, it isn’t right to lead with that presumption. I think that it’s okay to want to date a trans person and to be distinctly attracted to them, so long as you aren’t a jerk about it
