I'm now 35 and I think I'm fully ready to give up on my male gender and transition.
I know it won't magically make me pass but I honestly don't care about that at all. It's more on a spiritual level that I need it.

And then I started wondering, why do people do HRT? What's there to be expected, and what do people hope to obtain from it? Realistically, HRT doesn't turn you into a qt.
Gym, body care, epilation, fashion, clothes, make up, perfume... Those things do. Unless you start HRT before puberty, it won't alter your bone structure.

So what's a realistic change to expect from HRT at all? Which led me to think, it's mainly something to do for your own peace of mind, after repressing for my entire life, I feel like I just want this one change inside of me to feel a little less... wrong.

What were you hoping to obtain by going through HRT? Would you say you reached the goals you set up for yourselves?

Depends on what you look like, how far you masculinized and what are you planning on doing.
35 is too old for most people yet there's a very small percentage that could make it

Not a tranny, but hrt gives you tits and softer skin and better hair, or so I'm told. It also supposedly fucks with your emotions and labido.

It's not going to make you super cute unless you have lucky genes(occasionally 35 year old trannys still look alright). If you're transitioning because you're looking for spiritual relief, it's not a bad idea. Just tack it on there with Gym, body care, epilation, fashion, clothes, make up, perfume...

And if you're worried about being a bonecel, just get surgery done if you have like 20,000 dollars since ur older and might have that.

I mean, you're right that it isn't going to magically make you pass on its own, but it does do some things... Breast growth, fat migration, reduced muscle mass, softer skin, etc. It's subtle and gradual though.
