I want to start hrt but I have a crippling fear of needles. I cant do anything anything involving needles, but hrt seems to require i be injected with them. Even if I took oral estrogen or took it in patches, I would still have to get blood tests with syringes.

I dont know what I can possibly do besides give up on my dreams of transitioning and rot as a boy until I die.

i just get v drunk before injecting and that usually works okay, needles r scary

i was scared of that initially too but i think its almost less likely to hurt urself drunk, it makes me shake and hesitate a lot less and that makes it go a lot smoother

please don't get drunk before injecting your more likely to do something

injecting sucks and I was very afraid the first couple of times. If you do everything properly, its extremely unlikely you will harm yourself. Your body is a lot more durable than you think

ive been on injections for almost 5 years, im not nervous because im new, im nervous because i went from having easy and painless injections every time for the first couple years to hurting myself and bleeding every time now. i somehow got worse

if you just start oral hrt and dont do anything insane theres a 99% chance it will be okay anyway
and then if in 3 months you can force yourself to go for even one blood test you'll have a good idea of how things are going and might find it's easier than expected
