okay my best guess is that most people are at least a little gay, bi, asexual, whatever, and if you're thinking about it more (eg by reading yaoi/yuri, being autisitc, having identity thoughts in general), you're probably gonna realize it instead of ignoring it like a lot of "straight" people. hence why a lot of trans people are autisic as well, since they're usually already having identity crisises due to not fitting in. you'd be surprised how many cishet people are just not thinking about themselves in that aspect for whatever reasons.

Mmm, I get the reasoning, but I think you're comparing apples and oranges. Yaoi and yuri aren't really porn; they're stories about relationships and the person reading has to have the capacity to empathize with same-sex relationships to enjoy the genre. That filter alone should select for less heterosexually oriented individuals, imo.
