I think you do it naturally as a cis man to some degree when everyone else's voice is cracking at the same time and you all speak the same way as each other imitating inflections. I still argue some guys need to consciously train their voice to speak clearly and undo whatever lisp or nasally or gay accenty thing they have going on. Well those character models are inspired by the default sprites and not the detailed art style that was reserved for special moments and some animation, whichvif I recall correctly the fancy ones were not drawn by hussie but someone employed by them. Sure it doesn't look like fanart but I think it does a good job of reminding the audience they're all 13 unlike other interpretations that draw them in a generically good looking anime protag are they 14 or 24 style
