Not everyone is a single issue voter. It’s a perfectly reasonable position to say, “I don’t really care about LGBT or trans stuff, doesn’t affect me whatever” but feel very strongly about immigration and most other issues that Trump is pushing and still be largly in favor of the policies. I am actually myself probably a lot more leftiod adjacent on some things relating to how our government manages healthcare and massive corporates hegemonies, their influence and existence, ect and I’m dissatisfied in most Republicans handling of those things. So when the administration keeps rounding up non-illegals, as in both legal migrant residents and literal US-born citizens, deploying the military on said US-born citizens, because it's not the immigrants going outside to talk about it, that doesn't seem like overstep to you?
