>Reaching the twinkdeath age
>Want to take HRT to postpone or mitigate it
>But don't want to be a woman
Is it really such a bad idea for a non-tranny to take it?

Isn’t dutasteride pretty much going to get you the skin and the hair without getting you tits and emotions. seems like some people on here use it

It isn't. If my transition fails, i'll just be a prettyboy. If I don't kill myself, of course. The only problems would be the boobs, but there is ways to bypass that.

I'd probably have to get top surgery, tho, because they're already too big.

Idk dawg the way I look at it, all androgens are a risk and I would rather not worry about any of them.
>>40784398
Yeah leaning toward it right now unless someone talks me out of it.

I regrew a fuckton of hair the first month on estradiol. I only quit because I was worried about my dick. I'm on bicalutamide 50mg now. It's pretty awesome, idk how I feel about boobs yet though.

HRT to postpone/mitigate twinkdeath is a myth. I've seen the results and it's not pretty. There's a reason prettyboys/twinks have a hard age cap, the older you try to keep the look the sadder, more uncanny and more creepy it begins to look. This is why most non binary amabs end up fully transitioning after a few years of expirementing. You should think deep about what you'd rather age into, a man or a woman and pick that route

I don't get the dick concerns. I couldn't give less of a fuck if it can get hard or not.

Androgenic aging appears worse to me subjectively, but fuck trying to be a woman. Seems like a nightmare with things like make up.

If it's a myth then I must be a god or a muse because it's working for me so far.

no, at most dutasteride will stop you from going bald and maybe stop acne or something
it won't give you female skin

>is it a bad idea
it's subjective. just be aware that hrt/anti-androgens/etc will likely feminize u or have other side effects beyond prolonging twinkdeath. do u think the pros outweigh the cons?

It sucks because people will probably think you're a tranny unless you have really short hair, but then they might think you're a pooner
I've been on and off HRT for years because I can't stand T but I also hate being a tranny and not normal. I've found like the perfect balance sometimes but it slips away, its hard to stay in the right spot.
I'm not sure what to do anymore I'm about to go all in on trooning forever or just quit it for good

I've been called a twink at 35 so I guess it works, I've been practicing neck, shoulder and face muscles excercises think of it like mewing but for the whole body.

>post pics
No, now that I've stated that I don't want to be scrutinized and get all my flaws pointed out.

Dutasteride is going to do a few things:
- Reduce sebum production.
- Prevent male pattern baldness.
- Prevent further facial hair development (unproven, but likely in theory).
Will it give you the skin of a woman? No.
Will it prevent all masculinization? No.
Is it a good idea to take it if you are unsure about male aging or your gender identtiy? 100 times yes! Absolutely! Fucking take it!

yes it's a bad idea you cannot pick and choose the effects of hrt

Let's see...
- The main side effect that people tend to overwhelmingly not want from HRT is breast growth, and you can get keyhole surgery for that.
- Erectile dysfunction can be resolved with tadalafil and T-gel in >90% of cases.
- If you go with bicalutamide monotherapy you can even maintain your fertility in many cases.
Evidently there is some flexibility. Also, I should note that you can't pick and choose the effects of testosterone either.

It helps with some things, but it’s definitely not actual estrogen which is why if you don’t actually want to troon there really isn’t any negative side effects that I know off like actual estrogen based drugs. If you’re worried about it taking it, it might help, but it won’t hurt so it doesn’t hurt to try. Don’t do actual estrogen unless you actually are a severely dysphoric tranny, you’ll regret most likely when changes become noticeable and people treat you different.

if you don't care about change in emotion and eventual fat redistribution once most of your fat cells die at 5+yrs, you can try going on low-end dose e (at <100pg/mL mean) w/ an effective antiadrogen while taking raloxifene/tamoxifene to circumvent breast growth

Everyone tells me if I think I'm a tranny I should start HRT asap though. How do you know what dysphoria is mild enough to repress and what dysphoria isn't
