of course

i think for minors some educational seminar and an attempted conversion therapy session should be required though

if a minor resists two weeks of conversion therapy and gender-exploratory therapy they should be allowed to purchase estrogen/testosterone/antiandrogens

For adults, yes. I feel like caution should be used with gender transition in children although I don't care for the stonewall is approach towards trans minors that is more often than not used.
Especially for pooners. They have higher de-transition rates.

Everything HRT, TRT, and roiding related should be over-the-counter.
Estradiol, testosterone, progesterone, bicalutamide, finasteride, dutasteride, nandrolone, oxandrolone, everything.
If cis women can get kids vacuumed out of their cunts we should have the right to hormonally modify ourselves.

Give the children leuprolide depot.

if it's OTC for adults it's easily accessible for minors, see alcohol, legal weed, tobacco, hell energy drinks in some places, but if it needs to be prohibited on paper for otc hrt to be palatable to cissoids im cool with that

hrt should be in the water supply

I feel like puberty blockers is a better approach unless the desire to transition has existed for a significant period.
>>40799093
So are we gonna ban alcohol and marijuana because minors can straw purchase or have a fake ID? We might as well ban firearms and tobacco too. Your argument is a joke. It's easy for a kid to get $20 for weed or booze but with hormones you need a steady supply to see any effects. Unless their parents are helping them or they got a job, they wont get far.

puberty blockers fucks basically ur entire body up long term. they only exist in trooncare bc of older terfs saying hormones would make a 15yo explode or smth. just give them hormones 98% of puberty blocker patients go onto hormones anyway

I dont think that, I didn't say that, stop chasing windmills, I dont think anything should be banned and I think otc hrt is a good idea I'm just saying that banning minors from accessing it is kinda performative because if the kid really wants it they're gonna get it anyway

OTC isn't going far enough, it should be available at 7/11 and in pallets at Sam's Club

I'm just saying the argument of hormones shouldnt be sold over the counter is bad because minors can get it with a fake ID or straw purchase is poor and extremely flawed. Especially when considering the steady supply needed to see affects.

yeah that's true, I do think that if hrt got way easier to access for everyone but minors there would be mutual aid networks for minors to get a steady supply, mutual aid for people who cant afford hrt already exists so it would be a pretty easy shift

>mutual aid for people who cant afford hrt already exists
I don't think you fully understand just how easy it is to gain access for diy hrt. As a kid it was more easy to get weed than it was to get alcohol because nobody asked for an ID for weed. That's how things exist now in regards to "mutual aid networks."

So like in thailand. Although T is a lot more expensive.
>>40797974 (OP)
It won't ever work in the west because western countries are nanny states that are obsessed with preserving female fertility at all costs, they'll literally stop women from getting hysterectomy for severe endometriosis if they don't have a kid, doctors will literally peddle pregnancy as treatment, lol. And for this reason anything that's related to women's fertility is treated as dangerous, and women themselves are treated as cattle that can't be responsible for themselves, at least in this particular aspect of their lives. Hence all the "she's poor innocent girl who didn't know any better" despite talking about a 30something woman who decided to get a top surgery, then regretted it, and blamed the whole world, but herself for that. There's basically no accountability, it's always someone else's fault for not gatekeeping hard enough. You can't have OTC HRT in this environment.
It's not a problem in Thailand. Although it's also a nanny state, and abortions are illegal, and there's all kinds of bs. But when it comes to body altering treatments? Sure, go ahead, just don't try blaming others afterwards. Both T and E are OTC, 2 of my friend's son's classmates started HRT at 11 on their own. And yet there's no detrans panic. Your own parents will bitchslap so hard you'll get amnesia if you try saying you weren't gatekept hard enough. For surgeries, you get 2-3 interviews with different shrinks to get your letters and afterwards it's entirely your responsibility. But in the west, despite having similar requirements, you're still allowed to say shit like "uhm, actually, I lied and it's not my fault" and then suddenly everyone loses their minds.
Repression is still a thing here tho, it's a religious country after all, and socially conservative are plenty as well.

ok good start.
>that are obsessed with preserving female fertility at all costs
no. it’s not about just about women. it’s about preventing the populace as a whole from having any bodily autonomy that isn’t rubber stamped by an ‘expert’ holding a certificate rubber stamped by the upper echelons of society. from surgeries to prescriptions to drug restrictions to restrictions on fucking sunscreen ingredients.
women not having bodily autonomy is a 2nd order effect of this dynamic, but it isn’t the whole story.

Just to be clear, I wasn't really bashing women, although there's a bit of that, I've seen plenty of bad actors over the years among them. But women's healthcare is absolutely atrocious, OBGYNs are borderline butchers, the governments are being waaay too intrusive because they want to preserve their precious baby making machines to a degree they often don't even view women as people.
I get where you're coming from in terms of body autonomy overall, but there's a lot less restrictions on males, the degree of the relative indifference quite often is astonishing.
