do reppers consider themselves as cis? i just wanted to ask since the question came up in conversation and now im curious. i personally consider myself as cis and i think thats the whole point of repping but i wonder if some dont. pic unrelated

I'm a male with gender dysphoria and AAP at the same time, i stopped transtioning so i am not trans but calling myself cisgender also feels wrong, i don't fit and i don't care

Yes being trans is a choice made by transitioning, it's an identity defined by taking a specific action. Dysphoria is a mental illness and if I don't take that step I'm not any type of trans. I'm a foid with a mental illness

im not cis but i'm not trans either

i havent transitioned (yet) so i cant really say "i'm a woman" but i can't say i'm "cis cis" bc i do feel dysphoria

but it depends sometimes i do simply say i'm cis. it just depends on the context, if the topic is dating then i don't think i'm cis bc for that context it's relevant. if we're discussing like, oppression or experiences or whatever then yeah i do have a lot of the same experiences as any other cis dude

yeah, i'm obviously not trans, so sort of necessarily means i'm cis

fiancé and i are both (straight) reppers and we both id as nonbinary so we can at least avoid getting he’d and she’d by friends
