this is partly true but a downstream effect of the fact "whiteness" is just a measure of how easy it is to determine beauty (among other characteristics). for instance if you showed me a fat or unattractive or unhygienic white person it would be clear they were these things. but show me the same in a brown person i'll have to look a while longer. and on a black body i may not be able to decide at all. brown trannies are not beautiful nor inherently ugly, they are schrodinger's appearance.

It stops being relative when it has real life consequences for people. I've seen, in my Latin American country, people be denied jobs, friendships and relationships for being too dark.

When you are too brown no decent customer service job will take you unless you are model tier, without an education it relegates you to the lower consumer goods market which is based on counterfeits and very explicit worker exploitation.
