I do Muay Thai specifically, because Thai coaches (especially from Bangkok) do not give a fuck about a ladyboy in their gym. Folks who train Muay Thai, because of the association with Thai culture, tend to be more understanding/accepting of trans people (or more used to the idea that we exist, at the very least). Boxing is rad as hell but I think the opportunities for trans people to compete are more limited (if that's what you wanna do). Ultimately, I would go for the best gym that's affordable and close enough to you, where you feel safe & comfortable training. Or go based on interest, if you really love boxing specifically or something.
