im a boymoder that really likes old tech, and i was opening my mp3 player to replace the hard drive with an ssd and the battery with a better one, and the first time i tried it, i fucked it up. screwing up the battery connector, and it made me sad. but i got another battery and it works now :D

i walk around now listening to pop songs that will probably blow out my ear drums lol. its nice doing these little things to try to combat my depression. i still want to die, but maybe ill find enough joy to keep going if i do this stuff.

Hey so I've been there and when I get in this kind of mood I try to find something other than 4chan to occupy myself for a while. Can be trivial. Piece of furniture you've been meaning to move? Shower hasn't been cleaned in a while? Fridge has some expired stuff in it?

Make a note and stick it by your computer, "no 4chan today", and then go do your other thing. You'll be back tomorrow but every little bit of detox helps.

bumping this to say that's really cool, i bought a cd player a while ago so I'm not relying on spotify for music but it stopped working after a few uses and even then having to carry around a few cds is kind of a burden when i don't even have pockets on most of my clothes to carry it :( i should just get an mp3 player and a disc drive to burn my cds

I shoudl dig out an old ipod i think 2 or 3 i got years ago and try to get some songs on it. A digital mp3 player sounds nice, a break from spotify me thinks.
