I'm doing DIY HRT since June. I feel so good, I started on a small hondose but I've been going with 200mg spiro and 10mg estradiol sublingual since July and I'm seeing and feeling the changes. What else should I be taking? I read that you should be steady on E like this for 2-3 years and saturate your body with E before taking whatsitsname that feminizes your fat deposits and makes you curvy and all.

I think that's a good idea. I think with injections you just don't want to inject the same place multiple times in a row. Maybe try having different injection sites you rotate through?

I'm a cis male and I'm trying to get my face and hair to look more feminine thus I have a few questions.
1. what dosage of what hormones should I take?
2. do I need any blood tests or anything else prior to taking it?
3. if possible, what's the best alternative to injections?
4. if I'm taking a low dosage will I still grow some breasts and get some fat redistribution?( I don't want boobs)
5. I want to workout to get more muscles so will this affect the hormones in anyway?

Also, will hormones make me lose face fat?

Ideally, if you're taking HRT long term, you'd want to take a blood test to see your baseline before starting HRT, and take tests every few months to monitor your levels.
However, you said you don't want to grow breasts. Breasts are like one of the first things that happen, even though it just starts with your nipples getting puffy. It is going to happen if you take HRT, and if you take it for years they might not even be concealable anymore.
And yeah, HRT makes it harder to build muscle, as hard as it is cis women, at least after some time on it.
Hormones will, if anything, make you gain face fat.

You can't microdose estrogen to be 'a little bit feminine' dummy, it doesn't work that way, you're replacing one primary sex hormone for a different one, and it's one or the other. You need to have proper primary sex hormone levels.

I can tell you that after only a few months, I got breasts that require a sports bra to hide, and that was on a dose that I made too low by mistake. How much or how little you grow breasts is very dependent on your genetics.

That drug is raloxifene. It inhibits breast growth but I don't know anything about it and I don't know anyone on this board who has claimed to use it long term

If you really want to be feminine and take HRT forever but don't want breasts, you should plan on getting top surgery later.
But yeah, microdosing isn't really a thing. You can't pick and choose what happens. A low dose only slows everything down, but everything still happens simultaneously.

DIY hrt requires a lot of research so do be patient and just read through as much as you can.

With your two questions, yea you need blood tests to make sure the hrt is working and it is not too low or too high, for pills start low and work your way up, and if starting on tablets you will most likely definitely need AA to reduce T levels to below 50 ng

Yes, you want to monitor your testosterone and estrogen levels. A trams woman wants them within cis female ranges. Testosterone being too high masculinizes you. Estrogen being too low prevente you from feminizing. If both are too low, you may develop osteoporosis and anemia.
Your other questions are answered by the thread infographic. You can technically do estrogen monotherapy to suppress your T, but to be safe, I'd recommend using an AA in the beginning.

If you wanna do hrt, you generally have to go all the way. Taking a low dose of e without suppressing t would give you the opposite of what you want: you'd grow little boobs but your skin/hair would remain masculine from the t. Do the women in your family have small boobs?

Dunno where else to put this but i guess it's worth a shot.

It's a long story but basically I'm 31M, partner just turned 28, nonbinary. Some people say HRT made them think more clearly, but I think it's probably placebo. I and lots of other people don't experience anything different at all, except that crying comes more easily to me now. If they completely change their personality, it's not the hormones. Also yes, like that other anon said, they'll lose their sex drive, and eventually, their ability to cum at all.
How fast the changes come also depends on their hormone levels and genetics. I've grown what I think are A cups in my first four months, but some people hardly have more than breast buds by 6 months.
Their skin might also get better, and their B.O. and sweat might stink less.

Hey I'm gonna see an endo in November and I'm gonna be 24 then. I really hope I can see meaningful changes. I do have two concerns about HRT though:
1. Can testosterone gel applied to my crotch once a week prevent atrophy?
2. I already banked my sperm. However, if I were to detransition, would I be able to regain my ability to create sperm in the future?

First DIY EEn injection, a slightly raised rash around the injection site developed after a day and has been here for 4 days. It doesn’t hurt, itch, or burn. Is this normal? It’s gonna go away on its own, right…?

Why is that? You wouldn't be allergic to the estrogen, but something used to make it injectable. You're going to have to try another supplier and formula.

It was the same supplier and I (assume) formula: Otokokanoko. Anyway, the area of the redness seems to have subsided quite a bit today and the color looks a little more yellowish in parts, more like a bruise. If this fully goes away soon, I may try a different angle and location to see if it happens again.

There shouldn't be any issue. Worst that could happen is your E2 peaks a bit more than usual? Just a wild guess and it shouldn't cause any issues even if it did happen.

As long as the amount of E2 in your system is high enough to suppress T sufficiently then you're cool. You'll wanna get a blood test at your trough which gets your E2 and T levels I think.

I guess TLDR could be you'll be good and you won't need cypro if you're using the proper amount for monotherapy

it depends. that can be enough for some people but some people would require a 1 or 2 more pumps to get good levels. also with oestrogel you would usually need to go back with an antiandrogen
