the fact that female and male sexualities are different is kind of obvious. i might have seen some of the studies, yet i don't remember seeing studies about female sexuality that are not strictly about agp ever used in an agp discussion. if you actually do have studies, pls show me.

i disagree. i've seen blanchardists explain that transvestic fetishism is only about crossdressing, while agp can also be about anatomical features etc. the original definition of agp is:
"a male's propensity to be sexually aroused by the thought of himself as a female"
i only slightly modified the original definition by removing the part that limits agp to males, bc otherwise we are creating a double standard. therefore, i strongly believe that agp is best defined as "ability to get aroused by the thought of being female/feminine". thats what agp is.

AGP is the evolution of transvestic fetishism and should only used when youre trying to explain one of the two causes of gender dysphoria on males, but its true the definition of transvestic fetishism is limited to cross dressing. personally, i like to think that agp can develop in all sorts of people for a variety of reasons. and its pretty obvious it will manifest differently in men, women and trans women (and suprisingly or not, in transmascs too), but the core concept that connects them all is being aroused by contemplating ones femininity.

If you ask me to debunk the concept of getting arousal from the image of oneself as female, I can't do that. Even if there would be only 1 person reporting this it would be real, and I report having such arousal pattern, therefore AGP is real.

An observation that the experience of being a straight tranny differs profoundly from the experience of being a non-straight tranny is correct. It is also proven by both pro-blanchardist and anti-blachardist studies that non-staight trannies are more likely to experience AGP than straight trannies. But thats about it when it comes to correctness of blanchards theory.

Here's the list of all the problems with blanchards typology:
1. No clinical relevance, no predictive validity
2. Confirmation and selection bias in blanchards research
3. False dichotomy
4. Refusing to acknowledge that AGP is an arousal pattern that also happens in females
5. The theory hasnt evolved at all for the 36 years it exists, the only reason it's still there is bc terfs and gc grifters sympathize with it
6. Paraphilia label given to a pretty innocent sexuality
7. Focusing only on sexual resons to transitions and rejecting other theories without any actual reason
8. Wording the theory in a way that reinforces harmful stereotypes
