i had this cool story about clones i came up with once (never put it to paper) but it was the commodification of you, and the objectification. You then intrinsically become lesser of a person. You're one of many. And fuck it- then people start to clone those clones, until the DNA starts to shift and you get unholy amalgamates, but at the end, theyre still you. You in every timeline happens with every one.

yeah. youre the one being cloned. maybe you were doing it for fun, maybe you were doing it because the goverement deemed you as the ideal candidate, but you are the oringal base that your clones are based on. Maybe the clones are aware they are clones and resent you for creating them. Maybe they're empathetic. Maybe they're not allowed to feel at all. Would they be treated like pets or like equals. Would they build an ethnostate with you as their broodmother, or would they have a slave revolt after their (and by proxy your) subhuman treatment.
I wish I could write because i really like this idea and its alot of fun.

Lol this kind of reminds me of a premise I had for a coomer fic I was going to write where a boymoder works at a company that is developing a machine that perfectly scans and recreates people's holes for sex toys. i'm pretty vehemently against the idea of cloning and i could only wonder if clones of me would still feel the same way, if they feel they should even be alive. would they willingly die on that principal? would they second guess those ideals after discovering they're clones? i feel like despite my own feelings towards cloning i would be empathetic enough to see them as "me" and try to aid/free them.

but of course that's just me, there's so many different directions you could take an original character through that setting! and that's the best part of it tbhon

Wouldn't it make sense to adjust the look of the clone to match the user's current preference? And why would they not just use a custom made base if you can interfere with genes to that degree. Or is this your attempt to make a more horrible more selfish and more humiliating(idk why would you want that) version of a sponsored "motivational" girlfriend.
