Someone being mean to you and telling you you're fcking up doesn't make them evil and hateful. Also if they are hateful is it that difficult to assume you're provoking it somehow? I'm sure there's the occasional uber POS human but we're talking extreme cases of people pushed to their limit in one way or another. Imperfections and unlucky things do happen but if you crumble at the slightest pressure then the imperfection might be you.
