I was turning all my clothes into dresses when I was little. I had a persistent female identity my entire life and the best part is I WAITED until I passed to go fulltime as a woman and never had an issue. I haven't been misgendered in 9 years and I've only been fulltime for 7.

Trans people are 1000 times more self reflective than the average person by default. They are subject to a level of hate speech and family rejection that has a decent chance of breaking anyone's mind.

It is in fact you who, due to extreme guilt about what you know in your heart is an injustice, needs to invent a rationale to make it make sense. That's at play with many forms of prejudice, most obviously hating people with disabilities. Why do you feel revulsion when you see someone deformed or disabled? Is it their fault? Obviously not.
