I'm tired of progressives exclusively analyzing oppression based off how random people are personally mean to you. "Lived experience" is a horrible thing to base activism around. Because people's individual experiences are different you can run around in circles all day arguing about Jane's lived experience vesus Joe's. "Lived experiences" change depending on nation and culture which makes focusing on them bad for abolishing nation-states. Historically, women were not oppressed because men were simply mean to them, they were oppressed because the government gave them different rights to men and because as housewives they typically had no independent income and so their husbands, being the breadwinners, had an inevitable position of dominance. He who feeds you owns you. Today those things have changed in whole or part in many places around the world.
I'm tired of feminists waxing poetically about they're oppressed simply for being women while they (along with their husband, if applicable) still have the authority to mutilate their male and intersex children. Man-hating feminists are in fact conservative, because to hate men you have to declare them as being separate from women.
