the world is a lot more oppressive to women over all, but i agree that there are some perks too. unsurprisingly sexism is not black and white and both genders suffer from it in their own unique ways and one of those is indeed that men are judged more harshly for being themselves. there's this image of a man that every man has to adhere to or be judged, while women get to more freely just be themselves. i feel it too in the reverse of you where i'm the same way i always was but suddenly it's okay because i'm seen as a woman now
