The worst thing to happen to trans people was getting spearheaded by the left while the left were in their last days of power.
Before if some rightist were to screech about trannies all day in the field of political battles, any random liberal could dunk on them by saying something cliche and annoying like "heh, what are you, obsessed? Are you a repressed tranny yourself???"
But now because leftists decided we were their new pet cause as they were on the way out, those screeching right-wing guys are the majority of right-wingers and the only people who want to give a response to them anymore are trannies themselves who get the absolute most flak for trying to counter the shitty things said.
