I don't want to be "transgender" anymore. It's associated with too much cringe and perpetually trying to blend in with a society which doesn't want us. The Thai ladyboys just do their own thing and are happy. I thought "shemale" was a cringe term but now it feels somehow less cringe than whatever "transgender" has become.

There's a sizable chunk of autistic reddithon transbians with zero awareness out there, most trans people I know irl fall into that category. I always get super judgemental whenever I meet one, but I bottle it up to be nice. I made some comments around them about some guy celeb being super cute and just got stares. Being around them feels no different than being around nerdy cis-het guys. Feeling like I could ever be seen as that makes my skin crawl.

None of us want to be transgender.
I almost refused to transition at first because I wanted to be a cis woman, not a trans woman.
You don't get a choice; you are what you are. Run from it, hide from it, but you are a gender dysphoric transgender woman, regardless of all the disgusting tropes and stereotypes people think of you. Can't live as a man without misery.

I'm trying to grapple with this myself. I don't want to be seen as a trans woman, I want to be seen as a Cis woman. I don't want this at all. I look like a mutation of a man AND a woman combined, I hate it.
I don't want to be Associated with the people in this picture, and it's what keeps me FROM going outside.

I'm latin american and I use the terms "trava" and "travesti" to refer to myself, which would be basically as referring to myself as "troon" or "tranny". I've come to associate "transgender" or "trans woman" to a certain type of mid-2010s online crowd of virtue-signaling trenders so high on gender theory and third wave feminist they saw any slight sign of dysphoria talk as "problematic." I want no association to them.

Shemales are cool cause they're fine with being their own thing and aren't trying to delude themselves into thinking they're actual women, or trying to force society at large to cater to their delusions.

That's a healthy way to think, its more biologically accurate and even lets me embrace a little bit of clockyness.

I don't think for most of us its about being a completely normal woman its just that being a man is too manly too feel right.
