Because they want to kill us. Dehumanization of a group of people doesn't happen all at once. It's a slow trickle of incidents, real or not, that gradually choke off the sympathy of the public. They will lie and deflect and rewrite history until they blame us for every single one of these incidents. Each time one of these things happens they will exploit it to pull us a little deeper into that hole, a little closer to their ultimate goal.
