one of my best friends is black and he was the first person I ever came out to as trans and bi. he let me vent and listened to me talking about coming out to other mutual friends. he's really amazing and we're still friends

I used to socialize with them a lot isolation. I'm half black so it makes sense I would have other black friends. But I don't anymore, I stopped socializing years ago. Now, black people are like any other type of people: they pretend I don't exist.

Honestly the only ethnic group I haven't had problems with are Asians. Black people and white people have all given me problems in groups.

My experiences have mostly been through hookups, I don't live in an neighborhood with a ton of black people. I've found that they are nice but quickly become attached even though I try to make it clear we're just fucking.

my first bf was a black guy. i grew up in a very white area so didn't know any black guys closely before him. i didn't really have any preconceptions about it particularly. what i found was that he was more understanding than most of the guys i knew prior. he seemed to understand some stuff more easily, like what its like to be marginalised. it was interesting talking to him about his experiences of racism and my experiences of transphobia or misogyny, and was something we connected over sort of. i thought it was funny that we shared a lot of similar interests like video games and anime. i think very highly of him still. i still live in quite a white area so do not regularly talk with black guys anymore.

I’ve lived with 2 different black men, one a big gay alcoholic (not so nice) and the other was a super nice straight guy with his gf even reached out when I came out years ago, like genuinely a good person I think he works in television production now for a public broadcast channel

If some of your peers were rich, you didn't grow up in a racially-integrated area and likely didn't witness the extreme cruelty present within their communities.

The women have all been great, the guys have also been mostly great with only a couple bad experiences, but never anything major. Nothing really that would make them stand out in a bad light in comparison to other ethnic groups.

The only groups of people I genuinely feel wary of are older men who drink too much and some arab guys, because not only are those the groups most likely to approach me or hit on me, but also to beat me up if they realize I'm a tranny.

Bigger population. It's just you are more likely to run into entire communities of anti lgbt or pro lgbt with white people due to them taking up so much space so it's hard to tell. If you're in a black neighborhood they're mostly going to be anti lgbt but even then unless it's about money, black people learn quick in life to mind their own business. Especially in a high crime low income area this nigga really think the chances of you getting robbed go up cause you gay. Only bored white people care that much.
