If gender is a learned social construct then how can someone be born with a “learned social construct” that doesn’t match their biological sex?

But you have to learn your socially constructed gender first in order to be “dysphoric” about it, so how can you possibly be “born with gender dysphoria”?

I think this is a poor understanding of gender dysphoria. The word gender has both been used as a synonym for the word sex but also as its own thing and idea which leads to confusion.

So when people say they are BORN with gender dysphoria you should think of it as SEX(funny) dysphoria because these people are unhappy with their biological sex. Coupled with this due to gender being a social construct based off biological sex dysphoric individuals then feel gender dysphoric because they do not match up with the assigned social roles and actions of their ideal sex.

I'm not a transgender but this stuff isn't the hardest to understand though I know you posted this as an excuse to post shitty jaks.

No, I was physically uncomfortable not having breasts and thin boney ass that hurt to sit on solid surfaces with, I hated my greasy body and rough hair texture and estrogen has helped to fix all those problems

I could live fully as a he/him male in the social sense as long as I was allowed to take my estrogen and people wouldn't give me shit for being a skinny lil elf-looking titty-twink.

"Born this way" is largely political rhetoric, but there are cases of congenital gender dysphoria. It's discomfort about the body's physical sex. Any social dysphoria is downstream from that

Same as what they did for gay rights ,they just saw they were born this way so people who still have a problem with it but think punishing someone for something they had no kontrol over will bakk off
In reality ,the real argument is just that it doesnt matter so we should harm people for it

Some people dont like the gender roles ,but a lot of it is about feeling like youre the wrong sex
Regardless ,they are both klearly linked

Good point, this actually answers it. But most trannies would disagree with you and say gender is totally relative, with no objective grounding in biological sex (e.g. the “bearded lady” type trannies)

A leading theory is that brains are sexed just like bodies. When you're transsexual your brain sex isn't matched to the one of your body. Brain sex is developed in utero therefore it's all congenital.

I'd call it specialized body dysmorphia.
Sex and gender are too politicized.
Snowflake conservatives have seizures when they hear those two words.
Body dysmorphia is more about the gym culture, which every closeted gay man loves.

They and trannies who have always felt they are dysphoric over their sex may both be called the same thing, but they are actually two different things.

dysmorphia is based on a disordered view of reality, while dysphoria is based off distress based from the (correct) view of reality
tranny realizes their features are of their assigned sex, and feel the distress because of that
body dysmorphic views their (for example) nose as big, even when it's small
both can overlap and a person can suffer from both simultaneously, for example a tranny thinking shes a gargantuan monster while being 5'7, but are fundamentally not the same thing and can exist on their own.
