Yes, he was a terrible person, and ironically, he died standing up for what he believed in; besides what I saw on Twitter—I don't know if it's true—that his death was painless.

Not that he deserves sympathy, the way he spoke about Black people, LGBT people, and women, as well as his own daughters, stating that if they were raped, he would make them have the child, was disgusting; it wasn't the opinion of a moderate centrist.

But I feel for his daughters. No one deserves to grow up without a father, but I doubt he would have had a truly positive impact on their lives.

I mean there’s a difference between “I hate these people and want them to die” and “I accept these people’s right to exist even if my own religion prohibits it”. I knew he did tours and speaking engagements with gay conservatives.
