In theory, race is also a social construct. The bounderies we draw between one another are arbitrary and based on appearance rather than how different we actually are genetically speaking. If someone wanted to become white, they could if they only just found a way to change their skin color. Gender is also a social construct since women physically can do pretty much anything men can do these days. We don't live in hunter gatherer societies anymore where physical strength determines capability. Yet, you want us to keep pretending like we do.
