I disagree, adopting personas and mimicry of culture is just human nature.

Dysphoria is an instinct
Trans people are just in a lose/lose situation with doyble standards, if they act typically similar to their desired gender they're called "reinforcing stereotypes" and if they don't they're laughed at for being malebrained/fembrained, not passing, not even trying, etc. Meanwhile radfems celebrate cis women whether they're lipstick lesbians or housekeepers or butch or whatever. The idea that amabs are conformist for wanting breasts or afabs are conformist for not shaving is batshit backwards.
Anyway, if you want to be respected you need to be aggressive, not obey standards. Look at Muslims. Every time somebody insults them they chimp out, then European countries mysteriously pass blasphemy laws shortly afterwards. Not a good situation but that's how they get what they want. Passivity is always punished.
