They reached out regarding some transmaxxing documentary they wanted to make but we have not heard anything from them in a week.

Perhaps they concluded that we wouldn't provide them with the type of content they were looking for.

Sammy who participated in the last documentary got scammed and i guess people learned from that.

We don't really have any good lolcow for them i guess.

It's also possible they weren't even from HBO to begin with. No evidence was ever provided as far as i know (not that it matters much).

We might do a podcast about "honmaxxing" eventually but it's not really a priority for me and our podcasts have generally not generated that much in terms of views so far (70% is from shorter clips that took less effort).

but in short: transitioning when you wouldn't be able to pass is generally something you very much want to avoid.
