I am only speaking for the US here, but:
indians are the highest-income demographic in the entire US and do extremely well and in general this "those poor immigrants are being exploited as slaves :(" narrative is bullshit from the far-right and far-left. people immigrate because they want to immigrate and believe the benefits are worth it. they can always leave if they think they'd be better off in their home country
they are proactively moving somewhere to of their own free will work a job that pays them a wage. if they're being so expertly tricked and so deviously exploited to take all those voluntary actions then that's on them, I guess
I know a lot of people have been complaining about immigration to canada in the past year. I'm not going to die on a hill I don't know enough about, but I'm highly skeptical things are really that bad for either the immigrants or the native citizens
as for myself: I am an american white guy who works at a tech company with many indian coworkers. they all seem happy and successful, from what I can tell, as do all the non-indian coworkers, including myself
