The issue isn't that all white people literally have slave owner money in their bank accounts.
It's that black culture was put under attack for decades even after the end of 100s of years of cultural+literal genocide and slavery, while white people didn't deal with the same interference.
This legal codification of discrimination has lasting effects on infrastructure and public services in black communities.
In my city one of the largest ghettos just so happens to have very few busses and be a 30 minute drive from the highway in all directions, go ahead open a restaurant, no one will come because there's no way to get there, so everything fails and you end up with a massive chunk of the city where you can't even find a place to take a piss, let alone eat, buy groceries, or find a well paying job, there's not much of a way to be evonomically viable there.
That is why, even if your grandma didn't own slaves, she benefitted from not being black.
Additionally I don't have the opinion that your white grandma needs to feel bad, but acknowledging that our government has an unpaid debt, and unrepaired damages. Black people pay taxes too, it would be america paying black people back, not white people sending checks to black people
