Why are individuals with micropenises so vilified in our culture?

because there's a pervasive idea that life is fair.
humans want life to be fair. We create convoluted belief systems (religion) to try to understand life as fair. In christianity, god created everything and everything is according to god's plan, so even if things seem unfair (which they very clearly do), the state of the world is actually ordained by god and shouldn't be questioned. In buddhism, the state of your birth is determined by karma. If you have bad karma from a past life you get punished in your next life, so even if things seem unfair it's actually very fair. This is a really consistent theme in religion, because humans fundamentally have an idea of fairness, and the apparent unfairness of the universe is undesirable. In berserk, god is an egregore created by humanity's desire for a cause of the suffering and unfairness of the world. In this scenario, the unfairness is still at least caused, it happens for a reason because of the choice of a deity.
so people naturally react badly to things like men with micropenises, because it's a demonstration of the cruel unfairness of life. Everyone knows that having a micropenis is a terrible thing and can be life ruining, but for most people it's easier to do a bunch of mental gymnastics to create a belief system where actually the world isn't so bad, than accept the reality that life is insane and pointless and nature is evil.

I'm guessing it's because sexual intercourse is regarded so highly (because it's important for the survival of the species, and we're just like any other animal, but pretentious), and a microdick is functionally useless. Also, people like punching down for an ego boost.

I can't be the only one wondering how many of these people ended up living as women for life, right? Aside from the one known case of the guy who tried living as a man again after this happened to him, I've never heard of this being done to anyone else.

It was common for intersex babies to treated like that. The urologist who did my orchi was one of the docs who did those kinds of jobs back in the 70s. It's just something that I guess culturally nobody wanted to talk about. Out of sight, out of mind. Parents could pretend they had a sterile daughter instead of a son who was destined to be miserable/suicide.

Dunno. Again though, people were very secretive about personal business and skeletons in the closet back then. This was still when gay people weren't coming out of the closet. So intersex people who had their parts switched around definitely weren't telling anybody. Sometimes even their parents didn't tell them, so they might've just thought they were fucked up.

I mean yeah am I supposed to pretend I ever could have been a normal male with my 2.5 inch pp? At least I can find love as a woman.
