Very based OP. Let me take you back a long time ago to when I was in your position - I did not girlmode until I got FFS. My feelings were the same. I agree they are selfish and I will never in a million years buy this whole "I have to wear a dress and be a spectacle or the dysphoria is just soooo overwhelming" horseshit. I told myself very early even before HRT that I wouldn't persist if I didn't pass.

i don't even really get why people do that. i got on hrt very late (28) and wont ever pass, i'll save up for ffs but it's probably not happening until i'm 40 and by then like what's the point really, not even sure that fixes me anyway.
but like as for these old weirdos i have no idea why they do this. i cannot imagine being so.. arrogant? selfish? idk what it even is. i got really big boobs unfortunately and i wear binding tape and a chest binder every day of my life as to just appear as normal and inoffensive as possible.

I saw one too a week back, a close friend of mine got me a book at the Games Workshop and while walking away from the store in the mall an older hon passed us by.
You shouldn't worry because 99.9% of the world doesn't put us in the same box as them. It also really sucks to see them because I am always so torn between feeling really bad for them and being mad that they are walking around like that, giving transphobes ammo, making people uncomfortable. I can't imagine what it must be like if they truly feel like me, you have to remember that not until very recently resources and support for transition did not exist, they can't just rewind the clocks of their bodies and live today the life they wish they had years ago. I'm always afraid when I see a John, 50 in public because they look straight at me, possibly hoping to find someone to relate to, but I'm just trying to be a silly clocky twinkhon in peace.

You're not a bad person, it hurts to see them and how much they hurt us by trying to be like us. I know for a fact that if things had gone differently I would have been a John, 50, would people consider me differently just because of my jagged skin and isolation? A very sad reality about many John, 50s is that many have absolutely no one, cis women do not want to associate with them, teach them how to do their makeup, they have no one to work their style off of, they can only go by their own judgement. They usually aren't well off, either. Most older trans women who pass are very rich, they could pay for all the affirming care, but old hons live as poorly as Chris Chan.
