Yeah I'm getting back into it. Took a few years hiatus from working out/lifting etc and I want to get back to it because I want to be healthy. Just started couch to 5k from the /fit/ sticky last week, finishing up my second week Friday. Hitting the gym 2 times a week to build strength as well before settling into a 3 day/week high rep/low weight routine

I used the same excuse until I went and got a gym membership on impulse, which ended up fixing my schedule rather quick because I like to get my workout in early. Just get on with it desu.

Yes, I'm a top. Just deadlifted 4 plates for the first time this week. I need to improve my cardio but I've put on like 5kg of muscle in the last few months so there's an adaptation period now.

Nice work, I'm recovering from a leg injury and have finally been getting back to all my usual leg day stuff. Deadlifts are my favorite, I'm assuming you're talking about good straight form back ones? That's impressive if so

Yes, although I focus on the upper part of the movement since I do it at the end of back day. My thighs are already too thick because of genetics so for legs I'm mostly just interested in athleticism/conditioning.
Big PRs depend a lot on the day though, the day I beat that PR I did 3 reps with 4 plates after like 4 sets with 3 and didn't even feel tired afterwards, then the following week I couldn't do a rep with 4 plates at all. Probably wasn't as well rested, but regardless the idea is not doing 1 rep every week anyway, that's not productive, so I'm doing like 4x10 with 3 plates and then test what I can max out with at the very end.
