just had a nightmare this morning about small creatures that look like metal springs (the kind you can bounce with or find under beds). They were almost perfect in their shape and structure, void of any impurities, or defects, with sharp ends like if you cut sections of a spring. There were three different variants (identical in structure and shape) just different sizes and colors:
copper colored springs about the size of an adult human’s middle finger, mindless, and weren’t as threatening as they crawled along the floor, very slowly coring into objects or creatures
Silver colored springs: about twice the size of the copper springs. a little more sentient when hunting, and more intelligent at avoiding capture/being destroyed, like how slippery a fly is. They were more nimble and moved around quicker than coppers.
gold colored springs: doubled the silver spring’s size. Still the same shape, structure (not like there were fangs or anything shaped differently on them) but were a lot more menacing, violent, and destructive than its counterparts. Moved like very large centipedes, and when they cored into objects or people it was really gruesome.
Anyway in my nightmare they were everywhere i looked, and I was panicking. They were all over me even as I swatted them off. Near the end before I woke up, they were coming out of my throat and mouth, and I kept desperately trying to pull them all out but they just kept spawning more and more. Woke up and my throat was really dry and I needed water.
