i miss when my dad would carry me from my carseat to my bed. I'd be awake but I'd pretend to be asleep so he'd do it. I remember the way his arms and hands felt. Strong. I was small. He'd set me down and kiss my forehead. I miss you dad. I still love you, deep down. Despite everything. I hope you do too.

my dad was a tech guy so he never smelled from work. But sometimes he'd burn sage (he was very connected to native american culture) and the smell always brings me back to him immediately. Funny how smells bring back memories so clearly, huh?

i love my dad so much. he wanted grandchildren so hes a little disappointed that i did this to myself but he still cares about me a lot.
sometimes he calls me a prince and thats the best feeling ever. love your dads guys.

My old man was in the army when I was a kid. The smells of Kiwi boot polish and Sta-Flo starch and Old Spice after shave are exactly my dad. I was looking for something in his room not too long ago and looked in his nightstand and his shoe shine kit was still in it, took me back years.

Kinda related but different, my ex boyfreind used to pick me up from the couch if we were watching a movie and I fell asleep, he would carry me to the bed we shared and kiss me on the cheek,

He kinda felt like a dad sometimes, he believed in the whole pederasty thing where older men taught younger men (in this case a faggy boymoder) stuff about life and kinda mentored them

I'm aware OP meant their actual dad and I don't mean to sexualize that, just was a similar experience
