Why do some girls like their penises while others don't?
Because having a vagina isnt a requisite to being a woman. The same way being a woman isnt just a submissive weak feminine human being (the traditional gender role).
For example, put all european cis women into one group, all of them aren NOT trans, and dislike the idea of transitioning, however, you will find lots and lots of them which are tops, a bit masculine, extremly masculine, hypersexual, asexual, etc. etc.
When talking about transpeople, in 99% of cases we transtition while also taking the traditional gender role/norms. How many mtfs do you know that transition while liking being masculine and having 0 disphoria about being perceived masc?
In mtfs, becoming bottoms submissive feminine etc.
In ftms, becoming tops masculine strong etc.

those who dislike it, have the idea/concept/belief that them having a penis is inherently masculine that breaks the whole idea of them being women
those who dont, simply dont have that belief rooted in their minds
the same applies to ftms
Furthermore let me ask you something. If a man gets in an accident and loses his penis or lower body. does he stop being a man? or if a man is sterile is he not a man?
At the end of the day, being X, is mainly behaving as the traditional gender role of X and looking in a way that strangers associate you with X
