As much as Im not a fan of the arm warmers/thigh highs femboys wear, the biggest """"fashion"""" sin imo is that they dont ever wear their skirts correctly. Theyve only ever worn low waisted pants because thats what men wear for their entire lives. That or low waisted khaki/cargo shorts. Most skirts need to be worn higher on the waist. I dont really wear skirts all that often but high waisted clothing gives off the illusion of a bigger, fuller ass and hips (the thing most of these spoopy skeletons lack.) Wearing them higher on the waist also makes the legs look longer, which is a conventionally attractive trait on a feminine-presenting person.

Also also the male-fitted graphic t shirts arent helping, it accentuates their torsos and makes them look longer and top-heavy. They could *maybe* get away with it by switching out their amazon basics animu girl skirt with some black women's shorts and tucking their shirt in, fixing their posture, and maybe putting on a long flannel or other type of jacket to obscure their large ribcages.

Now that isn't to say that this is the RULE for dressing as a tranny, but it's a good baseline. Obviously cis women wear low-waisted stuff all the time, but you have to think about /how/ they wear it and /how/ it's fitted on them. It takes a lot of mix-and-matching and learning by trial-and-error but youll eventually get the hang of it. Thrift stores are your friend.

The clothes they wear and how they wear them speaks volumes about what they think to be feminine means. Everything you said about the skirts and the t-shirts is spot on and has been one of my main criticisms about femboyism for a while now. Part of why they wear what they wear and how is because the only pictures they ever take are of their legs from a perspective where you don't see the upper body. Another reason why is because they don't actually wear any of this in public (usually) and wear their normal guy clothes in public, to them this crossdressing is purely fetishistic or recreational while for us wearing women's clothing is just normal like most people. If you take away the socks and the skirts they don't own a single piece of clothing that isn't just what guys wear, to them the point of being a femboy is to wear the skirt not the other way around.

This is one of the reason why I always get upset when people lump us in with femboys, femboys look like a mockery deriving from the male gaze (and anime).
