"For Plato, Mind is the Creator."

- Plotinus

"In the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was with God, and the Logos was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."

- John 1

The Greek view of the Logos is reflected in words such as psychology, and theology and all "ologies", each having logos as a root. In Greek thought, the Logos was "the Reason behind all reason."

The Logos is like God’s eternal wisdom or reason, the divine blueprint behind the universe, not separate from God, but God in action, expressing Himself in creation.

Not Polytheism

Plato's gods are created beings, much like our angels.

Plato was a philosophical monotheist.

Plato wrote a whole-ass Creation Myth in which the Olympian gods are merely ancestors who were created by The One True God.
