I read some of penguin classics "essays of idleness" or "Tsurezuregusa" by yoshida kenko and kinda liked it

maybe i should read one of these too:
"The work is widely considered a gem of medieval Japanese literature and one of the three representative works of the zuihitsu genre, along with The Pillow Book and the Hลjลki.[2][3]"
