Trimalchio's feast in particular satirizes that class. The actual book itself is so long and so much is missing that it is unlikely that was the main theme of the book.

I like that even though it is ancient it has modern parallels. Trimalchio wants his tomb outfitted with pictures of specific gladiators he is fond of and that was funny to me. It reminds me of current sports culture.
