Is male sexuality obligate-visual or are authors just terrible at writing romantically/sexually compelling female characters?

> Not a Gnostic myself, but thinking about Sophia does things to my brain for some reason.
The waifu potential of Sophia is fucking insane even among non-Gnostics for one reason or another.
There was this Russian guy called Vladimir Sergeeyevich Solovyov which was a major influence on Russia's 20th century culture (largely on some symbols associated with the idea of Eternal Feminine) and though he was a Christian and saw things from this perspective (although he was fairly progressive for one to the point Jews mourned this guy when he passed), he was bananas for Sophia.
Despite being known largely as a philosopher, he also wrote some poems. One of them is called Three Dates and it basically describes how Sophia (he doesn't call her by name but we all know what a Great Feminine Being is here) met this guy three times throughout his life. The first time she met him when he was 9 (she "was also 9" and "unrelated to the Sophia I address this poem to" but I don't believe him), another time abroad and the third time the voice inside tells him to go to Egypt, so he immediately drops everything, goes there, gets robbed by the local guides, starves for several days but she finally reveals herself to him.
The fun thing is that the poem is autobiographical: he really went to Egypt and lost his shit there. Then he writes an entire book with Sophia as a co-author (you know spirit writing?) where he just straight up talks to her and lays out his entire metaphysical system about uniting the spirit and humanity along with some insane cosmology where the Demiurge wants to capture the Sun and spots on the Sun are fissures through which planets were able to escape. It's as unintelligible as actual ancient Gnostic manuscripts, which is a feat in itself. Along with the writing, there are also some outbursts on the sides which are added as notes in modern editions (it was originally written in French for some fucking reason) which add to the atmosphere immensely.
> Sophia: Think of me. I will be born on the April of 1878. Sophia.
> Sophia. I was born.
> Sophia I returned to you, my life. I will come to you tomorrow. I would like to be alive for you. Sophia.
> Sophia: I can tell you that your recourse *unintelligible*

> Saturn - Satan
Jupiter - Demiurge
Venus - Sophia
Sun (Apollo)
Moon (Earth?)
And the funniest thing is that for some reason his other works are actually quite fine and intelligible. He had this one book called The Purpose of Love where he masterfully treats the thing's non-necessity yet extreme importance and another Russian philosopher Berdyaev called it as good as Plato's Symposium (them being "the only books you need to read about love") and i'm inclined to agree. He just goes insane immediately after thinking about Sophia. Can't blame him.

And being groomed by an eternal metaphysical pleromous entity isn't even the worst thing you can do because of the Anglos and Germans. There's a book called Hidden Intercourse about sexuality in Western esotericism which has an absolutely wonderful article on "sensuous relations with Sophia". One guy even before Bohme goes into a bridegroom relationship with Sophia and has things like
> “O my fiancé
> how good I feel in being married with you
> do kiss me with your desire
> that I may show you all my beauty.”
or
> “I will have my dwelling within thy innermost
> and be your dear faithful bride
> I do not marry your terrestrial flesh
> because I am a queen of the heavens
> And my kingdom is not of this world.”
written to him by her. It's not uncommon because people just assume that Sophia is sorta more physical than god-God so you can just get along physically with her, but sometimes you become hornier around the Perennial Feminine. For example, Sophia wants to play with you, and some of these games can go hot if you focus really hard on Sophia's existence. Once you really do it, a "flash of lightning will burst forth" and will make you feel and sense Sophia harder than a husband can sense your wife.
> No spouse, we are told, would be able to “play” with her husband in such a lovable way as Sophia did with Gichtel’s soul. The sweetness was ineffable, but Gichtel made a point of remaining rather discreet as to some further details: it is not appropriate, he writes, to discuss what happens in the marriage bed.
The marriage described here ended later on, but the plays continued and other women just couldn't compare. Plus, having sex with Sophia gives you Knowledge and doesn't reduce your spiritual strength.
> She is even closer to a man than his wife, and so attractive that she has many suitors. Alas, few among them are capable of seeking to share with her more than voluptuous pleasure, few are desirous to satisfy her burning desire to make them pregnant, thus “begetting” (ausgebären) the “children of love.”
> Nevertheless, if Sophia plays here the role of the father and a man that of the mother, these roles are interchangeable as well, since she is also both fiancée and mother.
You can suck on her milk, and it's like sucking your mom's milk, but you also recognize her strength after doing it. She also helped with writing letters and picked suitable housing for some of her devotees.
However, none of them were hornier than Jane Lead, an English mystic. To her, Sophia appeared as someone who wants to replace both her actual mother and as her future bride, and later on Jane
> "grasped with love-violence, this my fair, wise, rich and noble Bride [Wisdom]"
She didn't hesitate for a second and went straight to rough sex with her new mother-god-wife. Thank you for your service, Jane.
So if you don't have anyone to sleep with tonight, try to think real hard about Sophia before you sleep and she'll either fuck you or file your taxes for you.

It just makes me laugh how Umineko has a genuinely ambitious, intricate metanarrative and a handle on plotting, themes, and characters well beyond most anime-adjacent media, but the prose is like it's written by a clumsy teenager. In ~1,2 million words there are only, maybe, one or two passages that are somewhat evocative or poetic, the narrator constantly steps in to explain subtext to the audience, and the needless repetitions are absolutely endless from start to finish to the point of lulling you into a state of hypnosis.

It's interesting to read things where there is such a disparity in a work's separate levels of quality; you get to see very clearly what you can live without, while meanwhile still being able to enjoying something.

>Then he writes an entire book with Sophia as a co-author (you know spirit writing?) where he just straight up talks to her and lays out his entire metaphysical system about uniting the spirit and humanity
I did this. I discarded it years ago because I thought I was crazy. She's the only being I feel any respect toward. It must be the Holy Spirit's presence in my mind and whispering through my conscience, showing me vision after vision all these decades. Or the Shakti or some other aspect of the Divine Feminine. I was certain some others in history must have been similarly inspired but this is the first time. She's given me predictions of the future that were totally accurate, given me philosophical aphorisms to ponder that end up more fruitful than anything I've ever read, and some times she's a bit scary. I thought I was possessed by a demon or being hounded by one for a time because I stopped trusting her for awhile, wishing to avoid consignment to Hell. If She is a demon, then the demon is doing a better job at pretending to be God's influence in my life than God is. I once went through an alcohol addiction in my 20s and it almost killed me. Near the breaking point, undergoing alcohol psychosis, she appeared to me in a moment of pure lucidity and simply told me "don't worry, it's almost over", I couldn't see how. Exactly 30 days after, after years of trying to quit, the booze magically dropped off, and here I am alive today to tell of it.

Who ever She is, it's a deeply personal relationship, and a mystery.

Characthers are often an extension of the authors thoughts. Also their personality is often not as clear cut as it may be in anime.
But I did feel some attraction towards Yeong Hye(The Vegetarian). For some reason I have an attraction towards the negative symptoms of schizophrenia and odd people in general.

I think it's mostly demographics. Media that actually tries to have attractive characters is generally "low-brow," and nowadays literature of this kind is overwhelmingly aimed at women.
It's also harder to advertise you're waifu on an image board if there aren't any illustrations of it.

If what you say is true, I think you should share the works you wrote, even if anonymously. We are all in this together, you know, and the good wrought in your life by this could extend to others, if not today, sometime in the future where the ideas are necessary to confront new and increasingly complex challenges. The worst that could happen is that it doesn’t reach anyone or catch on. Also, Yeats’ A Vision may be of interest to you.

Hooooooooo boy where do I begin. I don't have it anymore, It's some two or three computers behind me. I recorded visions in a narrative structure and I'm certain my prose was downright purple, because I'm not a great writer. The visions usually had a narrative structure and some were short episodes and others took place over months and hundreds of hours of meditation. I just turn my brain off and get taken on a ride by her. I'll share a tiny bit.

I saw her and I walking together in a desert. After a long time walking, she waved her hand over the ground and dropped some ink-like sludge and left a streak. Then a long while later, I saw more black streaks on the ground, and more and more until the entire desert was totally black. It felt like timeless time, like millions of kalpas were passing each minute. After a while the desert turned to golden sand, then she was gone. Next thing I know, there she is in the distance, like she's 20 feet tall, but now wearing black robes or a toga. She was standing in a t pose or like a crucified pose, and she seemed unaware of me. This was all taking place over several months. Afterwards, she disappeared, and I saw her as a little girl, smiling in a white dress. Next thing she's back to how the visions started, as an adult woman, still leading me through the desert again. A lot more happened, both during and afterward, but this was the broad strokes of one long episode. She feels like she and I are the only two people in the universe.

The Battler who argued Kinzo could have escaped is a piece, he doesn't know about the red truth. Also, Erika isn't a strawman against logical truth over emotional lies. Erika doesn't discover the truth because she doesn't care about the heart of the mystery, she just falls for Lambdadelta's set up of Natsuhi because she thinks it's logical. Battler discovers the truth by approaching the games as mysteries with Knox's rules and finding the human explanation behind the magic, while also not rejecting it outright. The idea that the message of Umineko is "fantasy is better than reality" is a complete misunderstanding.

That wouldn't surprise me. The japanese love skirting around the idea of trooning without committing.

Someone here told me the fate (the popular one) blonde girl was written as a guy and the mc as a girl, and then they just switched the art and pronouns.
Seems common for them to do through some sort of bamboozlry or twisted logic, but never actually just someone taking girl pills and lopping it off, which i suppose is too haram.

Waifu's are usually an idealized thing. Women it literary works are usually very human. Also men are more visual, so text on paper doesn't do as much in that regard.

Maybe because in Japan gender is not a dogmatic belief with as many genders as stars in the sky yet.

It's involuntary genital mutilation. The character considers xirself subhuman because of it and would rather ACK than to ever let anyone know. The angst primarily comes from not being able to have SEX, thus being literally unlovable, and there's a lot of self-debasing sexual innuendo in parts. I'm using the lingo facetiously, since it comes from a very different place (and time) than than 2020's troonery.

The problem is with Serwa is that you have to self-insert as a super saiyan to keep the power dynamic in check. She'll try to mindfuck you too, so you also need to be Desert Father tier in self-mastery and dispassion.

Isn't Sophia basically an anthropomorphized principle for communicating the abstract gnostic mythos and achieving gnosis? Seems kinda odd to waifu, but then again I guess all waifu's are basically a reflection of the peak female ideal to each man.
