this is one thing i prefer French books, all classics are 'livres de poche'. They are cheap and small and superior to the larger english format.

yes. For the price and volume of a single american book we get three here. They're small, remain legible, fit in the back pocket, and they're white, so they don't darken the room they're stored in.
