Weak bait aside, it's slop with nothing of any substance to say without anything remotely interesting other than a stylistic gimmick, a fun capeshit villain, and edginess that's only edgy to poorly-read, over-protected midwits suffering from a serious dearth of imagination. the book was basically a forgotten mccarthy novel and realtively obscure, and mostly meme'd on /lit/, until one of these youtubers made a video about it.
i'm telling you 99% of people talking about it on the internet have not read the book and do not know what the book reads like at all, or the writings like in OP's pic. they just listened to a creepypasta-like commentary on the edgy cowboy book without knowing whats edgy about it.

Always remember the word “racist” didn’t even exist prior to the late 1800s and was only popularized by leon trotsky (actual name lev bronstein, jew) as a propagandist term meant to disavow what he called “White oppressors” in America.
